From Terschelling, you can walk straight onto the Wadden Sea at low tide. Birds are foraging for food and the lugworms occasionally squirt out some water and mud. It is an experience to walk on the vast Wadden Sea. From the dike on the south side of the island, you also have a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea at low tide and the Wadden Sea at high tide. The Wadden Sea is a world heritage site.
From holiday accommodation on the island, the Wadden is always close by.
